`BENKI PATNA` – KARMIKARA KASHTA SUKHA!

Knowing the pulse of workers who are at the lowest level and making a film needs guts and interest. The realities clubbed by Dayanand a multi talented personality is now a script for the film. His story published in one of the language dailies is the main source for a Kannada film ‘Benki Patna’.

‘Benki Patna’ is the place like Periyapatna, Channarayapatna etc, the place imagined by director. He has literally conversed with all the characters he has developed for the film.

Dayanand changing his field of activity once in two years is a person who can speak authentically of the downtrodden working class. It was when he made a profile for Zakir Ali Khan the fire in Dayanand was noticed. He worked on the script he had and developed characters that are close to reality. ‘Idu Namma Nelada Kathe says Dayanand. He has great support from KARAVE magazine editor Dinesh Kumar who is executive producer of the film.

Out of the box roles are played by Arun Sagar and B Suresha. Anushri and Pratap Narayan play lead roles. Anushri says this is a performance deserving role. As a worker I had to give different shades in the film says talkative Anushri who did not say much this time.

Steve and Kaushik are scoring music. This is the duo that worked for ‘Samosa’. The instruments will be played for the songs. Niranjan Babu is cameraman for ‘Benki Patna’.

Narayana Gowda KRV President blessed the team and it is his advice to make a completely film of our land and culture.

Zakir Ali Khan from Maasthi village in Kolar district is in to businesses like safety shoes and uniforms for schools.
